Our petition campaign ended on November 15, 2025. It was signed by 432 citizens. This answers the question, “Is there widespread support for a traffic light at this intersection?” The answer is YES!
The petition was submitted to the Cherry Hills Village City Council on November 18th and the same petition will be submitted to the Greenwood Village Council on December 1st. We have four requests:
1) Both cities should ask their staff to coordinate with each other to produce a jointly written staff report that gives both city councils the pros and cons of different options to make this intersection safer;
2) Each city should schedule its own public study session to review the staff report;
3) Each city should consider holding a Public Hearing after its study session; and
4) Each city should take a YES or NO vote on the installation of a traffic light.
